Management Committee

Cathcart & District Housing Association (CDHA) is a community-controlled housing association, governed by a Management Committee made up of local members. 

CDHA is led by a Management Committee of up to 15 tenants, residents and other individuals with an interest and/or skill that suits the aims of the Association. Each Management Committee member brings particular skills and experience to the governing body. 

The Management Committee is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Association, providing challenge and oversight of the staff team to ensure that all decisions and services are provided and delivered in the best interests of our tenants and customers. The Management Committee meets monthly.

We currently have a casual vacancy on our Management Committee and would welcome applications from our tenants. 

This role offers you the opportunity to lead the strategic direction of a growing organisation, playing a key role in delivering high-quality services to our customers and defining goals and targets.

Please note that to be elected to the Management Committee, you must be a Share Member of the Association.

Eligibility for Committee

Our Model Rules (pages 14-15) outline the reasons why a person may be ineligible to serve as a Committee Member.

All Management Committee Members are expected to sign up to the Code of Conduct which sets out the standards and performance expected of Committee Members.
