The Association offers all owners the option to be included in our Common Buildings Insurance policy through Howden. This policy covers each individual property for full reinstatement value.
The annual premium is £250.43 for residential properties and £307.97 for commercial properties. Premiums are collected through factoring bills. Commercial property owners who wish to be included should contact the office for further information.
Policy Excesses
- General Claims: £350 (£1,000 for commercial and retail premises)
- Escape of Water: £500
- Subsidence: £1,000
The policy covers the standard buildings insurance risks including fire, storm, vandalism, theft and accidental damage. Claims are made by the Association on behalf of owners.
Please note:
- The Association is responsible for ensuring that all properties are adequately covered.
- All owners with their own policy must submit a copy to the Association on an annual basis.
